Update: Will We Live Under the Problems or Rise Above Them?

Hello Friends,
Happy July! Amazing! The year is already half over … or should I say half begun. There’s more, so much more, that God wants to do in this year. Either the glass is half empty or half full. We get to decide!
Yes, there are lots of problems—problems in our lives, problems in families, problems in the world. Nation is rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There are famines, diseases, and earthquakes in different places. Many are betraying one another and hating one another. Iniquity abounds, and the love of many is growing cold. It is all exactly as Jesus told us it would be in the last days.
But Jesus says, Don’t worry. The end is not yet. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24:14 AKJV). The end He speaks of is the end of this age, in preparation for a new beginning. God is preparing us for a better world. But first, “this Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached…”
Yes, there are many problems, but there are also great opportunities! This is the time for the Body of Christ to rise up like never before in the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s time to build our lives on the Word and not be moved. We need to decide! What are we going to do about all the problems? Are we going to live under them, or rise above them? God has given us wings to soar like an eagle. Will we use them?
I sense God is about to do something BIG in the world. Yes, in the world, but also in this ministry. I believe we are on the cusp of a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will bring multitudes into the Kingdom of God. And WE, you and me and Susan, are a part of it! WE just need to go get into the flow of what God is doing.
I hear the Lord saying that He is bringing a new wave of His glory to the earth that will make every past move of God seem minuscule, and He will get all the glory. No politician or preacher will get the glory for what God is about to do. For everyone will know that it is He, and He alone, who has done it.
Our part is to seek Him and pray. Pray for revival in the Church and a spiritual awakening in the land. Pray that God will move and multitudes will come into the Kingdom. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit and for signs, wonders, and miracles. That is what it will take to bring change … God Himself in manifestation. “Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.” (Zechariah 10:1 NKJV).
We need a flood of the Holy Spirit. Only He can save us through His power and glory. Only God can heal the many broken hearts all around us. Only God can set people free of addiction and spiritual bondage. Only God can change a human heart. When God’s glory comes in, the devil goes out. When God’s POWER is in manifestation, Satan does not stand a chance. It’s time to welcome God’s presence into our lives, into our homes, into our churches, into our communities.
Jesus is the Savior! I want to preach it from the mountaintops, shout it in public places, in the open air, on the internet. There is a Savior! Your life can change, no matter how dark and hopeless it seems! I want people to KNOW Jesus as Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Can you catch the wave? Are you ready for change? Are you ready for true revival?
GOD is still moving IN Mahnomen
I heard from Mayor Curt Uran of Mahnomen, Minnesota this week. He’s still excited about what happened through our Hope for Mahnomen community outreach in April. He says that the revival fires are still burning. His life has changed, and he is connecting on a spiritual level with more people than ever before.
The Gospel continues to be proclaimed. This month, a number of preachers are coming to the Mahnomen Fair Grounds to preach the Gospel in a tent. Curt and his wife, Danielle, are holding a Vacation Bible School at an apartment complex with the support of their local church. The Celebrate Recovery addiction recovery program is flourishing. According to Curt, there is much fruit continuing to issue forth from Hope for Mahnomen. There is power when we come together, go forth, and preach the Gospel!
Another Great Open Door
I’m excited to share with you about our next area-wide Gospel outreach which will be held in Devils Lake, North Dakota in August. Area pastors are meeting and planning the event. There will be worship, testimonies, prayer for the sick, and I will be preaching the Gospel in the open air. I am expecting great things, but we NEED your prayers. Let’s take authority over the powers of darkness and take the city for Jesus. Perhaps we could rename Devils Lake “Lake Holy Spirit!” or simply, “This town belongs to Jesus!”
The public proclamation of the Gospel is desperately needed. Jesus told us to “Go into all the world and preach (proclaim) the Gospel.” God’s Word goes forth and produces much fruit. I was reading about the transformation of many lives in Argentina and other Latin American countries through mass evangelism with signs and wonders in recent years. God’s power can transform nations. Why not the United States? We need to sound a clear message of the cross, call people to repentance, and believe God for miracles.
We Need One Another
Susan and I delight to take your prayer requests to our Father! And at the same time, we need your prayers! WE together, as WE pray for one another, can release the winds of God’s Spirit to bring change. The Holy Spirit can do more with our fervent effectual prayers than all our self-efforts can accomplish in years of struggle.
Pray for us for more open doors, for more of the glory of God to be manifested in our ministry, that we can get out of the way and let HIM move. Pray for our health, that we can GO. Pray for our finances, that we get where we’re going. Pray for a great anointing of the Holy Spirit and for many people to find Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Let us know how we can pray for you this month!
Onward!
