With God’s anointing on our lives, we can accomplish great things, but an even greater power and blessing is released when a group is anointed. Churches, ministries, and families can be tremendous conduits for the power of the Holy Spirit when they function in unity.

• How God’s power was released in the Old Testament when God’s people made “one sound” in praising God.
• How the choices you make in your relationships in the church have an effect on the salvation of souls.
• How God laid down the pattern for revival and awakening the book of Acts and how that pattern can be followed today.

THE CORPORATE ANOINTING

“<<A Song of degrees of David.>> Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.” Psalms 133:1-3, KJV.

-a period of great unity under King David. How many would like to know something you can do that will cause a move of God that will cause people to come to know Christ as Savior and Lord?

MAIN THOUGHT: By coming into unity, we can experience a great manifestation of God and we can see many people come to the Lord.

UNITY IN GOD’S PEOPLE RELEASES THE HOLY SPIRIT

“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.” 2 Chronicles 5:13, 14, KJV.

harmonious worship, priests could not stand. God invaded the congregation.

REVIVAL COMES THROUGH UNITED PRAYER

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:1-4, KJV.

Revival brings a God-consciousness, and it’s easy to get saved. Noised abroad, multitude came together. 3000 souls. Acts 2:6 We desperately need revival today!

“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.” Psalms 110:3, KJV.

EVERY PART OF THE ANOINTED BODY IS IMPORTANT

“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-18, KJV.

CONCLUSION: When we unite, there will be great manifestations of the Spirit and it will be easy for people to get saved. And that’s a good thing! UNITE CHURCH UNITE!!!
