Notes: REMEMBER THE BLOOD
“The Lord’s Supper
I have received of the Lord that which I delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night in which He was betrayed, took bread. When He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take and eat. This is My body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”In the same manner He took the cup after He had supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. ”As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” (1Corinthians 11:23-26, MEV)
Main Thought: Remember the blood of Jesus, because it is only through His blood that you have eternal life, a relationship with God, healing, divine protection, wisdom, authority in prayer, and every good gift that comes from God.
“whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith, in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins previously committed,” (Romans 3:25, MEV)
“How much more then, being now justified by His blood, shall we be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:9, MEV)
“In Him we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace,” (Ephesians 1:7, MEV)
“how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14, MEV)
Therefore, brothers, we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,” (Hebrews 10:19, MEV)
“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1John 1:7, MEV)
