Dear Precious People,

Susan and I are so thankful for the team that God has given us to fulfill our mission of helping people find the solution to their deepest needs. We know that the Gospel is the answer. As the Apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 MEV)

Besides all the individual supporters, this year God has given us two new supporting churches. We consider it a great honor to be connected to the vision and mission of local churches. We consider our relationship with our partners and partnering churches to be a two-way street, as we endeavor to pray and encourage you in all you are doing.

Benin Building Project

As I mentioned last month, with contributions from our partners and partnering churches, we successfully raised the funds for the classroom addition at Mt. Moriah Bible School and Moriah Vocational High School in Danzounmey, Benin, West Africa. We also regularly support the Bible School, which is training ministers to work in rural areas of Benin.

In the picture above, you can see the building project nearing completion. The building partially shown on the right side of the picture is the dormitory, which was the first building project. The first floor of the building on the left was next, which serves as the kitchen, dining room, and classrooms. The second floor, which is nearing completion, will be used for classrooms for both schools.

Apostle Isaac Clossou of the Messenger Church of God reports that classes for both schools begin September 15. There are 23 students enrolled in the Bible School, including four girls. The vocational high school has 32 students enrolled, including 11 girls.

You are Loved!

Susan and I want you to know that you are loved. As a ministry, we are not trying to replace the local church. Everyone needs a church and a pastor. But we do our part to help God’s people and God’s work. We pray over every request, and when we receive prayer requests for specific events, such as weddings, surgeries, or upcoming births, we save the date on our calendar and pray. We are pulling with you in spirit, seeking to help you with your challenges, and rejoicing in your victories.
