In September, Susan Shanklin was the speaker for a women’s conference at the Faith Family Christian Center in Hendricks, Minnesota. She spoke on “Ain’t Gonna Give Up” and “Don’t Give Up on You” bringing a Word of encouragement and hope to the ladies of the area. The meetings were a time of refreshing, laughter, and release, and the Lord used the time to create a spirit of faith to go forward in the things of God.

Many of the women were obviously touched by God, prayers were answered and several later testified of the blessings that they received from the Lord during the conference.

Pastor Joyce Caugherty, who organized the meeting said:

It was pure joy to have Susan minister at our women’s conference.  She was so down to earth and transparent in her life experiences.  Her teaching was laced with scriptures that everyone could apply to in their own lives.  Laughter filled the day with her witty insights.  We were all personally blessed and it was all to the Glory of God!
