Please pray for our upcoming outreach to the city of Mahnomen, Hope for Mahnomen, on  Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14-15, 6:30 p.m. nightly, at the Mahnomen High School Gymnasium.

The theme is “A Reason to Hope. A Time to Heal.” We are excited to bring hope and healing to the city of Mahnomen and the surrounding region. The mayor of Mahnomen, Curt Uran, will host the two-night event; other churches and organizations are cooperating, and Katie Baker, an anointed worship leader from Perham, Minnesota, will lead worship.

This is an opportunity to reach an entire community with the message of freedom in Christ. We are already seeing a groundswell of excitement for this event. It’s a wonderful open door, but we need your prayers for this mission to succeed. Please pray for the following:

• For wisdom in organizing the event and the various teams of volunteers.
• For favor and continued excitement in the community.
• For myself, Mayor Curt Uran, who will be the host of the two-night event, and Katie Baker, who will be leading worship.
• Pray for open hearts and receptive minds to the message that we will bring, especially among the young people.
• Pray for an effective follow-up to those who are reached through this event.
