Partner Update: Let’s Get the Message Out!

Preparing to pour cement on the roof of he classroom addition in Benin. Progress!
Dear Friends,
In March I had some powerful meetings in North Dakota. The emphasis of my preaching was what it means to be a child of God. At Zion Lutheran Brethren Church in Maddock, where I ministered for the first time, I preached on “You Must Be Born Again” on Sunday morning. About six people responded to a call for salvation.
We also had a wonderful Bible Study and fellowship during Sunday School on Ephesians 4:1-16, emphasizing the oneness of the Body of Christ and the 5-fold ministry. We continued the meetings with our new friends at Maddock on Sunday through Tuesday evenings, concluding with a message on “Redigging the Wells of Revival.” I talked about the ministries of Martin Luther, John Wesley, the Azuza Street Revival, the Healing Revival of the mid-20th century, and other “well-diggers.” God is restoring His Church to her full inheritance step by step, and we must continue to clean out the ancient wells and let the waters of revival flow.
I also visited Prairie Faith in Glenfield, North Dakota, where I had a men’s prayer meeting on Saturday morning. I spoke on “What Does God Want?” The message was based on Acts 13:1-4 where the church leaders pulled aside, fasted, and ministered to the Lord, and the Holy Spirit gave direction to release Paul and Barnabas into their missionary outreach. Because of their obedience to the guidance of the Lord, the Gospel was spread throughout the world. On Saturday night, I spoke on “Miracles are Normal,” and on Sunday morning, I shared a message called “Identity Crisis” about how our true identity is found in our relationship with God.
The Benin Classroom Project is Progressing
I’m happy to report that the second-floor classroom addition for the Mt. Moriah Bible School and Vocational High School continues to progress. As our partners have contributed, we have transferred the funds, and Rev. Isaac Clossou and the Messenger Church of God immediately put the money to work by purchasing more materials and continuing the building process. Another $1,000 came in for the classroom addition in March, leaving only $4,875 remaining to complete the project. Of that amount, only $2,000 is needed for the next major step, the pouring of the concrete slab for the roof of the building.

We are excited!
Susan and I are excited about what God is doing through this ministry, and we are happy and thankful for your part in this work. As we celebrate the resurrection this month, let’s meditate on the power of the cross, and contemplate what we can do to get that message out to the billions of people who have not heard. We are connected with you in the spirit, and we are praying for you!
Onward!
Tom
