Dear Precious Friends and Partners,

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. (Psalms 46:4 MEV). 

In January, I returned to North Woods Community Church in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. I was about to leave for this meeting when Susan (barely awake) got up and joined me for the nearly 2 1/2 hour trip. We both believe it was because the Lord wanted her there to hear the message and to be a part of the “Amen” section at Solon Springs. It was a great meeting and wonderful fellowship.

I preached a message called “There is a River!” that relates to the 2008 article published on the front page of this newsletter and to two prophecies given in 1948 concerning a coming great revival in the St. Croix River Valley.

As I mentioned last month, these almost identical prophecies were given by two different missionaries visiting the area who did not know one another. The prophecies stated that there would be a great revival before Jesus returns that would begin at the headwaters of the St. Croix and affect the entire river valley, 100 miles in each direction, an area that would include the place where Susan and I live, as well as the entire Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) area.

I encouraged the people at North Woods that they have a destiny to fulfill as a part of this great move of God, and that they should continue to press in for revival and the move of the Holy Spirit in their Church and area. Every great transforming move of God has always begun when Christians have humbled themselves, repented, and prayed. Then, the river begins to flow out and touch the world.
