Ministry Update: “I Continue!”
Dear Partner,
“Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.” (Acts 26:22-23 KJV)
I want to focus on two words from Paul’s defense to King Agrippa: “I continue…”
Paul was imprisoned and under duress, yet his testimony was, “I continue!” He faced many challenges and changing circumstances in his life and ministry, but the end result was “I continue!”
Some of his greatest epistles (Philippians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philemon) were written while he was in captivity. It’s a good lesson. Don’t fold your hands and give up while you are going through a trial. Keep seeking the Lord and doing what He tells you to do.
Continue Preaching
Since we have been grounded from traveling through the Covid-19 epidemic, we have expanded our ministry on the Internet, primarily through YouTube videos. We’ve been getting a good response and we are trusting the Lord to give us more grace and creativity to be able to minister effectively through this medium.
We’ve also been spiffing up our website, which is really a gold mine of teaching, testimony, and encouragement. We actually have 533 posts on our website, including articles, videos, podcasts, and ministry classes. So we are working to make these materials more accessible and available to people all over the world. Last year we ministered to 8,440 visitors from 148 nations on our website, and I pray by the grace of God we can reach many more in the days to come.
I am looking forward to the time when we can preach the Gospel face-to-face once again. I’m ready to hear a good “Amen!” But in the meantime, we will use the means we have to “continue.”
Continue Giving
One of the great joys of the work of the ministry has been partnering with life-giving, Gospel preaching ministries around the world. We pray for them, encourage them, and give as the Lord provides. I am happy that so far we have been able to continue to provide to financial support to missionaries. This is one of the ways that we accomplish our mission of taking the Gospel to the world.
We have also been led by the Lord to give to some special needs. Our pastor/evangelist friend in Kenya is facing special challenges not only due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but also a swarm of locusts that have invaded the nation and devastated the food chain. We have been able to send some funds to help him feed his family along with the orphans that he cares for. We know that there are many more all around the world who are facing severe food shortages. We cannot help them all, but we are doing what we can to help some. We trust that as God’s people follow the His leading, needs will be met, in Jesus’ name.
In February, before the present crisis hit, we were able to send another offering to help with the construction of the Bible School dormitory in Danzounmey, southern Benin, West Africa. With these funds and those raised locally in Benin, the walls of the building were completed. Praise the Lord! We are trusting the Lord for the next phase, a roof for the dormitory costing approximately $5,500. Click here to read about the Bible School Project at Danzounmey, Benin.
Continue Praying
Prayer has always been the center-point of this ministry, and even more so now. First, seeking the Lord and His will for our own lives and family, and then extending the circle of prayer to our ministry partners, partnering churches, missionaries, our nation, and the nations of the world.
We see many answers to prayer from the requests which come in by mail and over the Internet, and we are receiving healing testimonies from our videos. We also are praying into areas where we haven’t seen immediate results, such as governments, pandemics, and wars. But we trust that God is working, just as He has consistently through the years, bringing deliverance to nations and individuals as he raises up one and puts down another, and brings help to His people who cry unto Him. We give Him thanks that He is our Answer, and we trust Him with our lives and future.
Continue Thanking God for You
We have been so encouraged and blessed by the faithful support of our friends, partners, and partnering churches. Even with the economy reeling, you have been steadfast. Even some new folks have come on board, so I would say that God is working in the hearts of His people. We are praying every day for you, your family, and everything pertaining to you. Let’s continue together to take this Gospel to the world!

Letters from Our Friends…
Online Communion Service
Very good message. I thought it is a timely word in how you connected the communion with the Passover. Jesus’ blood is so powerful and protects us. Thank you for not letting the virus keep you from ministering. I am always so encouraged by you both. (North Mankato, Minnesota)
Encouraged by Europe Mission Report
Praise the Lord. I was so encouraged by the great report of the working of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We were backing you here in the Philippines with our prayers. Reading the reports made me wish I could have been with you. (Missionary to the Philippines)
Healed from Online Healing Service
Praise the Lord I am and was healed. Prayer was for pain in my arm and in female parts. Arm was checked by a licensed therapeutic massage therapist and I had no pain then and since. Female parts and underlying cause—pain and underlying cause gone—totally and none since. (Minnesota)
Receiving Online Teachings for 12 Years
My wife and I thank you so much for your continuous support of online Bible studies, teachings, prayer, and encouraging words which we have been receiving from you for the last 12 years! Truly, the teachings have become a source of blessing to us, and we have been using them as a tool to teach our people in the ministry during home Bible fellowships, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and during leaders meetings. And also your online Bible studies helped me to reach out to the lost and bring them to the Kingdom of God through repentance, salvation, healing, deliverance and restoration, in Jesus Name. (Pastor from Kenya)
Listening to Healing CD Daily
I am enjoying your healing CD daily Bro. Tom. It keeps my spirit strong to stay in divine health. I also sent one to my sister. (South Dakota)
