Next Generations Conference at Good News, Gary, Minnesota, April 27-28
A Next Generations Conference at Good News Fellowship Church, Gary, Minnesota, on Friday and Saturday, April 27-28, will feature food, a talent show, a youth band, and messages about how the young and the old can work together for glory of God.
On Friday at 7 p.m., the youth band from Community Church International in Thief River Falls will lead worship and Evangelist Tom Shanklin of Mankato, Minnesota will speak.
On Saturday, April 28, beginning at 5 p.m., there will be a meal and a multi-generational talent show. A 7 p.m., the youth band will lead worship once again. Pastor Tom Ramsey, formerly of Twin Valley and now a youth pastor at Thief River Falls, will speak.
Evangelist Shanklin said, “Too often the Church has been losing the battle for the hearts and minds of our young people. As a result, many churches are dying. It’s time to seek the Lord for strategies to reach and retain our young people, and to work together with them for the glory of God.”
