Ministry Update: Miracle Baby in Slovakia
Last February, when we were traveling from Poland to Slovakia, we were asked to stop and meet with a young woman named Lydia, who had been unable to have children.
She traveled for an hour to meet us at a train station where we prayed that the Lord would open her womb and give her a child. Doctors had given her and her husband little hope, but we just received word that she gave birth to a little girl named Stella (meaning star) on January 8, 2021.
Read about our mission to Europe.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children.” Praise ye the LORD. (Psalms 113:9, AV)
Benin Bible School Update
The construction of the dormitory for the Mt. Moriah Bible Schoo is proceding with a flurry of activity. On the picture at the right you can see a worker preparing the steel reinforcement for the cement roof of the dormitory.
Rev. Isaac Clossou of the Messenger Church of God has been doing a great job of supervising the work and also keeping us informed with videos, photos and progress reports.
We have transferred an additional $4,800 to Benin since our last report. I am amazed! However, the total costs of this first phase of the project has increased due to escalating costs of materials and a recognition of the need to build the structure with an additional stairway and more reinforcement to accommodate the future addition of a second and third story, which will provide additional housing and classroom space in the future.

The Tabitha Project, which is training women from Benin to make support themselves through sewing, is fully funded for now. The main need is for prayer for a marketing plan for the products they are producing.
Believers School Flourishing in Kenya
We received the following report from Pastor Davis Juma, who has established a Believers School of Ministry in Kenya using our materials:
The Believers School of Ministry, which was founded by Tom and Susan Shanklin, is transforming the leadership of the church in East and Central Africa. Before its inception, most of the Church leaders from this region had very little knowledge on matters such as differentiating between confession and repentance, how to effectively lead a sinner to Christ, understanding the priesthood of believers, understanding the offices of apostles, teachers, prophets, etc.
This school is now helping to equip many church leaders from different denominations to be effective ministers of the Word. The classes meet in the Buloma Baptist Church building in Western Kenya. When it began, many church leaders from East and Central countries enrolled. But due to travel restrictions in countries because of Covid-19, we are now only training leaders from Kenya. Being the principal of this school here, I am seeing much progress and enthusiasm from the students.
Since the majority of the leaders here have no formal training in theology, this school is providing what they were lacking in areas of their service. Currently, the church building under which they meet can only hold a few students when the Covid-19 protocol is observed. This has forced us to divide the 80 students into different classes, and they come on different dates.
The Believers School of Ministry has 80 students, mostly church leaders, from different denominations in Kenya.
Keep praying for more Swahili Bibles for the leaders and members.
