Ministry Update: Joy to the World All Year Round
But the angel said to them, “Listen! Do not fear. For I bring you good news of great joy, which will be to all people. (Luke 2:10, MEV)
The message of Christmas is Good News of great joy for everyone—a message of God becoming a man to reconcile us to Himself. That is why the message of Christmas is joy to the world all year round.
This continues to be the focus of our ministry—to let people all around the world to know that God loves them, forgives them, and wants them to be a part of His family when they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Preaching in Minneapolis
I had a wonderful time at the Businessmen’s Fellowship in Minneapolis. This group is led by Peter Wiering (92) and his wife, Etta (91). They have been touching many lives in the Twin Cities, meeting in the community room of Northeast Bank. Covid restrictions have kept them from meeting for over a year, but in November, they were able to meet again.
I had a great time listening to the testimonies of believers attending the meeting. Most shared about adventures of sharing Jesus on the streets of Minneapolis or with their families. I told them they should change their name to “Soulwinners Incorporated.”
I then shared a message from the Word of God on “Faith for the Impossible,” about how the impossible becomes possible with the faith of God. The Bible is not a storybook, but a real account of real events in which God invaded earth and did miraculous things through the faith of His people. The message was a great encouragement to all of us. All things are possible to those who believe!
Update from Benin
In November, a graduation ceremony was held at the facility at Danzounmey, southern Benin, where we helped construct the dormitory. Rev. Isaac Clossou reports that “22 trained workers were released into the field of the divine harvest through this graduation in our Bible School Center—3 at the level of Certificate in Ministry, 8 at the level of Baccalaureate in Theology, and 11 at the level of Associate Degree.”
Dr. Stephen Mills, Africa/Middle East Leader for Vision University, presided over the graduation ceremony. The next class begins January 17, 2022, at the facility which we helped to build in the village of Danzounmey.
Bibles for Kenya
I have been led to send money for Bibles to Pastor Davis Juma in Kenya. This man became very fired up for evangelism after reading my book, “You Can Touch the World.” It seems every time I hear from him, he is off for evangelistic ministry in a new unreached part of Kenya or a surrounding nation. I would like to provide some English and Swahili Bibles to help him disciple the people who are coming to the Lord through his ministry. I can think of no greater Christmas gift than the Word of God. If you would like to donate towards “Bibles for Kenya,” you can donate here. Be sure and indicate that your gift is for “Bibles for Kenya.”
Moving On!
We are moving from our homestead near Mankato to Scandia, Minnesota, north of the Twin Cities. We are excited about this change and expect that it will give us greater freedom to minister and spend time with our family.
Thank you so much for your faithful support, prayers, and encouragement. It’s great to have you on the team!
Have a very Merry Christmas!
