Ministry Update: Bibles for Kenya & More
Bible distribution in Nairenge in Narok North in Maasailand, Kenya.
I was excited to see the pictures which you see above and below from Pastor Davis Juma from the evangelistic outreach and Bible distribution he did in Nairenge in Narok North in Maasailand, Kenya, East Africa in February. These Bibles, which we were able to purchase with the help of our partners, are in the Maasai tribal language.
Pastor Juma reports, “I am really seeing an awakening in East Africa. Everywhere there is a new hunger for the Gospel. Thank you for praying. I am forming a formidable team that will be traveling many places preaching and training believers.”
God is on the Move!
We have been making some more YouTube videos, including a series on “The Call of God” with our friend, Stan Strunc of In His Love Ministries. Stan is translating the messages into the Czech language and publishing them on his YouTube Channel. He has been receiving many comments from those who have been challenged by the videos. Here is one comment from someone in the US:
“Hi Stanley I am currently watching one of the videos of Evangelist Tom Shanklin and yourself. It is awesome. The one I am watching is GOD”S call on our life. Thank you for doing this video, Brother Stan. Bless you and Sarah and family.”
Stan has over 1860 subscribers to his channel, including Czech and Slovak-speaking people, as well as Roma (Gypsy) people all over Europe. He said that about half of the people he is ministering to have received Christ within the past two years, mainly through online ministry. God is on the move!

Thank You for Your Prayers
Thank you for your prayers for my recovery from back surgery and the kind cards, notes, and emails. I am slowly improving day by day. I am walking short distances without a cane, and the pain and numbness are decreasing. I am going to physical therapy and visiting the local YMCA, but I have to be careful not to overdo it. I am thanking God in advance for a full recovery.
Susan, too, is doing better after a stressful and strenuous move. Her neck, which was injured when she received a chiropractic adjustment which did more harm than good, is improving. She’s been very busy making our new house into a home, and she is looking forward to the time when I can be more helpful to her around the house.
Please let us know how Susan and I can pray for you! You are in our hearts and we are praying every day for you!
