Mankato: Get Equipped to Fulfill Your Ministry

The Believers School of Ministry in Tolna, North Dakota. About 50 people representing six different churches attended.
In these days, the real move of God is what He is doing among His people. He is raising up an army to take this world for Him. The role of Gospel ministers (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers) is the equip God’s people to do this work.
“And His gifts were <varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us> some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), <that they should do> the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church),” Ephesians 4:11, 12, Amplified.
As an evangelist, I love to reach out to the lost, to sound the Gospel trumpet, and call people to come to Jesus. But I also realize that I have a work to do among Christians—to equip them to reach others in the power of the Spirit.
Just as soldiers in the army are not sent out to battle without proper training and equipment, God’s people must also be prepared for the work He has for them in this life.
That is why we are excited about the Believers School of Ministry, which will be held each Thursday evening, January 11-March 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Madison East Center Meeting Room, 1400 E. Madison Ave., Suite 354, Mankato, Minnesota.
