Living Word Church in Redwood Falls Celebrates 35 Years
By Tom Shanklin
Susan and I attended the 35th anniversary celebration at Living Word Church in Redwood Falls on September 9 where we enjoy good fellowship and a camaraderie in the Gospel. There was excitement in the air as the sanctuary was packed to praise God for what He had done in the past 35 years and to hear special speaker Jim Kaseman. Rev. Kaseman was the founding pastor of the church which was started shortly after he had graduated from first class of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. Rev. Kaseman went on to found the Association of Faith Churches and Ministries, a ministry fellowship that is reaching the US and the nations of the world. He told the crowd on Sunday that Living Word Church was actually the first church ever to be founded by a Rhema graduate.

Pastor Nate Belkstrom
Rev. Kaseman left the Living Word to fulfill his traveling ministry, and in 1983, Pastor Nate Belkstrom took over leadership of the church, and remains the pastor to this day.
Pastor Nate also has a ministry to eastern Europe called To Belarus with Love where he ministers to people about living the Christian life on a daily basis in the workplace. Congratulations Pastor Nate and Chris and Living Word Church on a job well done. Glory to Jesus for a church that is working together and touching the world.
