A Letter from Jesus: Drive-through Witness

Kim Ellison of Bringing in the Harvest Ministries wrote this simple letter from Jesus. She says, “What I do with this letter is when I go through a drive-through like McDonalds, I hand the person at the window the letter and a dollar tip. I tell them it is a letter about Jesus and the dollar is for them to have a coffee or pop on me as they read it. Anyway, I say something like that. They light up. Most of these folks never get a tip. I call it the “DRIVE THRU WITNESS” Maybe some of your folks would like to try it. Easy, never a rejection. However, there is no time to pray with them as they are working. My friend Mary, passed these out in a laundromat in Florida. A laundromat is a good spot because they are waiting for their clothes, so they have time to talk.”
My Dear Friend,
I just had to write to tell you how much I love you and care for you. Did you know that you are precious in my sight and I love you with an everlasting love? Well I do. Yes, I love you. There is no greater love than one who would lay down his life for his friends. I laid down my life for you at Calvary because my love for you is so very great. It is a love that will never fade, grow distant or die.
Many people don’t realize how much I truly do love them. They think I am all about rules, do’s and don’ts, and religion. But really, I am all about love and relationship. Did you know that the Bible says that God is love? Well it does, and I love you, and I want to have a relationship with you.
I left heaven and came to earth to die on the cross for your sins. If you had been the only person, I still would have come, because I love you so very much. I desire to have a relationship with you. It is so easy; it is not a hard thing for us to have fellowship. It is not about working your way to heaven, or being good enough. It is about my love for you and the free gift of salvation that I offer to you.
Yes, salvation is totally free. You don’t have to do good works to earn my love or my salvation. I already love you. But, you do need to accept me as your Lord and Savior so that we can spend eternity together, and you must truly repent and turn away from sin. I will help you do this if you so desire. All things are possible with me on your side, and I am willing to forgive you of all of your sins. You only need to ask.
I am preparing a wonderful place for those who love me and desire to come and live with me in heaven. This is your personal invitation. Please deeply consider my offer. It is a matter of life and death. I am coming back soon, and I don’t want you to miss out on heaven.
I know at times this life has been difficult, but in heaven there is no pain, no sorrow, no tears or death. Heaven will be great. Please accept this invitation, and pray the prayer below to allow me to become your Lord and Savior. I promise to never leave you nor forsake you.
