Susan and I would like to invite you to our Interdenominational Harvest Evangelism Conference with special guest Stan Strunc, missionary to Europe, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, 2018. The conference will be held at Word of Life Lutheran Church at 20013 Stoltzman Rd, Mankato, MN.. The theme of the conference is “Igniting Your Passion for the Lost.”

Stan Strunc and his wife Sarah live in Gloucester, England and are directors of In His Love Ministries. They minister among the Roma gypsy people and many other groups there, as well as continental Europe. Stan, who is from the Czech Republic, was our interpreter when we ministered to the eastern European Gypsies who are living in England. We are excited also to have Don and Sheila Damborg as our worship leaders for the conference. See more about them below.

The purpose of the Harvest Conference is to stir up Christ’s body, the Church, to fulfill God’s #1 Job, the Great Commission. We believe that God’s work of reaching people and making disciples will be accomplished through the work of the entire body of Christ—young and older, men and women, preachers and ordinary believers. This conference is designed to stir up, train, demonstrate, and practice evangelism in a tangible way that will produce results for the Kingdom of God.

The schedule of meetings is as follows:

• Friday, 6:30 p.m., Stan Strunc will speak on “Igniting Your Passion for the Lost.”
• Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon, Evangelism Workshops with Tom and Susan Shanklin and Stan Strunc.
• Saturday, 1-3 p.m., Community Outreach to the city of Mankato, inviting people to the evening Healing Service.
• Saturday at 6:30 p.m., Healing Service for Spiritual, Emotional and Physical Healing.

Everyone and all denominations are welcome. There is no charge. A free-will offering will be received. For those traveling distances, Mankato has many hotels and restaurants to serve your needs.

About Our Worship Leaders…

Don Damborg is a Christian musician, songwriter, recording artist, and minister who has traveled extensively leading praise and worship at churches, inter-denominational conferences and worship events. His ministry promotes an extraordinary uplifting of Jesus Christ, in jubilant praise and worship and music ministry.

He is the author of four Christian albums and numerous praise and worship songs, some of which have been heard on Christian radio. His worship leading experience has brought him all over the United States, Canada, and in other parts of the world, ministering to groups, both large and small, and of all denominations.

For three years Don traveled with the Lowell Lundstrom Evangelistic Association – playing in stadium-size crusades all over North America and seeing literally thousands come to faith in Christ. He was also a featured worship leader for the Spirit Fest Midwest’s Power of God Band and coordinated worship teams for six years for such individuals as Phil Driscoll, Dallas Holm, Ron Kenoly, and Paul Baloche.

When asked what his greatest joy is, Don responds by saying “in proclaiming the wonderful message of Jesus Christ and seeing others come to faith in Him.”

Don will be joined by his wife, Sheila, who is also a recording artist, musician, singer, and worship leader (and homeschooling mother of 7 kids).  Together they live in a small town north of Minneapolis, MN. When not involved in music, they love spending time together as a family, being active in sports, watching Colorado Rockies baseball, playing board games, and enjoying the great outdoors.

NOTE: We are looking for volunteers to go out in the city of Mankato on Saturday afternoon to share the love of Jesus and invite people to the Healing Service on Saturday night. If you are interested, please let us know.
