God’s Power is Working in His People! [Ministry Update]
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21, NKJV)
We have what is takes! God’s power is working in us!
We don’t need dead religion or empty confessions. We need the power of God! It changes everything. We need His unmistakable tangible presence. It’s what changed me. It changed Paul. His presence changes us and makes up more like Him. It brings miracles. It changes the atmosphere. It changes churches. It changes cities. It changes nations.
We work so hard to change. We try so hard to change others. It is time to let go and let God. He’s the “Changer.” We are the “changees.” “Abide in Me and I in you,” He says, “For without me You can do nothing.” We just need to let Him live big in us—in our thoughts, in our emotions, in our bodies. He can do anything!
Great things are ahead! The mighty works of God are just beginning! Why? Because we have what it takes. The power of God is working in us. We the church, the body of Christ, already have the resources of heaven within us for world revival. The Church in America is already carrying the seeds for the Third Great Awakening. The Church in the UK has the makings for another Welsh Revival and another move of God like in the days of John Wesley. The Church in your nation, too, wherever you live, already has what it takes.
What is revival? Revival is when the Church lets God have His way. It’s not just a meeting with excitement. It’s when the living God invades the Church with His overwhelming presence and brings change. When God invades the Church, the Church will bring His presence to the world, and people will experience Him in a real and tangible way. It’s happened before and it will happen again!
Jesus has promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church. We will get the job done because we have what it takes.
We need to let our spirits pulsate with the life of God. We need to lay hold on the power that created the universe and that raised Jesus from the dead. That’s our power. It’s been given to the Church. Paul prayed that we would recognize the greatness of the power towards us who believe. He didn’t pray that we would get the power. No. He prayed that we would recognize that we already have the power. We have what it takes!
What do we have? It’s the anointing, The anointing of the Holy Spirit breaks the yoke, heals the sick, convinces sinners, and changes nations. We’ve been given grace. We’ve been given gifts by grace. It’s time to use them. It’s time to bless humanity with gifts from God. It’s time to bring deliverance to broken people and broken nations, because we have what it takes.
You’re Anointed with God’s Power!
In June, Susan and I ministered at Living Word Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Susan spoke on “You’re Anointed,” and I shared a message on “The Power that Works in You.” We also prayed for many needs there.
I had three days of meetings at Trinity-Bergen Lutheran Church in Starkweather, North Dakota. I spoke on The Abundant Life, Jesus the Door, The Father’s Love, and Diving Healing. Gifts of the Spirit were in operation. One night, people came from Cavalier, a town 80 miles away, and were greatly ministered to. Healing and deliverance came for three generations of one family. The following week, Pastor Rob Buechler of Starkweather was invited by that group to come to Cavalier and minister. Here’s his report of what took place:
“I went to the meeting at Cavalier and God was so good. There were three who recommitted their lives to Christ, and then there was a young lady who was a practicing witch and Satanist. Her parents were there praying for her salvation. She came to the church around when we should have been done, and she came up to me with her mom. She wanted healing in her shoulder. The Holy Spirit and the glory was just tangible in that place and I asked her if she was ready to come home to Jesus and leave the witchcraft and Satanism behind. She started weeping, repented of her idolatry, and asked Jesus to forgive her and be her Lord. She then gave me her witchcraft and satanic stuff which I then threw away after she renounced them. She got saved, praise the Lord, and is now being discipled by the people there. After this young lady came to faith, she spent all night and into the early morning (3:30am) searching out all her witchcraft and occult objects, and then she brought them to be publicly burned before Christian witnesses. She will be baptized July 12.”
Also in June, I ministered at the Jehovah House Retreat Center in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota where I preached on God’s anointing of the Holy Spirit and power upon Jesus to heal and how He just wants us to walk in that anointing today. A missionary couple who were at the meeting wrote later of their experience at the meeting:
“Your humility and sound doctrine were so refreshing. The experience gave us renewed faith that God could also work through us the way He works through you. We just need to seek Him, be filled with the Spirit daily, and remain humble and right with the Lord. It boosted our faith. On Sunday we shared with a church and then were asked to pray over those who came forward for prayer. Because of the boost to our faith after seeing you, we were able to pray with faith that God would move, not because we are special, but because He wants to touch these lives. We are just a vessel. As we prayed, His presence was so strong and He touched hearts. It was beautiful. We are so thankful!”
Tabitha Project Update
Last month we mentioned the need to hire a seamstress/teacher for the Tabitha Project Sewing Center in Cotonou, Benin, West Africa. As I mentioned, we purchased four sewing machines last year, but the great need now is for an experienced seamstress who can teach young ladies how to sew to support themselves properly.
In June, our partners gave $925 designated for this need, enough for us to commit to providing one year of salary for the teacher. Our partners in Benin, Rev. Isaac and Hortense Clousou, are now recruiting the seamstress/teacher. We are praying that they can find a Christian, who can also be a good example and a spiritual mentor to the young women. Please pray that they will find the right person for this position.

You Have What It Takes!
I want to encourage you that now is the time for you to rise up, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and reach people with God’s power and glory. God cannot be limited to working through traveling ministers and pastors, He wants to use all of us to fill this earth with His glory. The seeds are in you for world revival. Water them!
Thanks so much for being a part of this ministry. We are praying for you every day!
