The Benin Mission: Raising Ministers & Changing a Nation

Tom Shanklin Ministries is partnering with Messenger Church of God in the development of the Mt. Moriah Bible School and Vocational and Technical High School in the village of Danzounmey in southern Benin, West Africa. We have provided finances for a well on the property and two buildings housing a dormitory, kitchen, dining area, and classrooms. A second-floor classroom facility was completed in late 2025. The purpose of the Bible School is to train ministers to reach Gospel-needy rural areas in Benin. The Vocational and Technical School is being established to train young men and women in vocational skills and spiritual development. The funds we are raising now support the two schools’ operations, including teachers’ salaries, educational materials, government-mandated programs, and food for students living in the dormitory.
