Highlights of 2019!

Dear Precious Partner,

Never underestimate the power of partnership! 

Two people can accomplish more than one if they work together. And with God’s help, we can accomplish even more. Thank you for joining us in this mission to take the Gospel to the world!

Today, I want to celebrate what you have done through your giving and prayers in 2019. As I look back, I see that much was accomplished. Here’s just a sample of what we did together. In 2019, we:

• Preached at a four-day open-air Festival of Miracles and Healing at Hlassame, Benin, where nearly 500 people made decisions for Jesus Christ and many were physically healed. Pastors reported some of the people had already visited the area churches the following Sunday. This was the first ever Gospel crusade held in this village.
• Held a four-day Pastors and Workers Conference with people from various churches and denominations in Benin. Susan and Tom spoke on evangelism, discipleship and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Susan’s ministry was received well by the pastors, and deeply touched the ladies in attendance. Susan also encouraged the women of Benin in women’s conferences in a large city and a very remote village.
• Translated into French, printed, and distributed 1,000 copies of Tom’s book on evangelism, “You Can Touch the World” to ministers and believers in Benin. Copies were also given for use in a Bible School.
• Purchased a well and water storage tank for a retreat center and Bible school in Danzounmey, southern Benin. This water will not only provide water for the ministry center, but also for the villagers, and will provide a connection point to reach out with the living water of salvation. We also began to support the construction of a much needed dormitory for the Bible School. We plan to continue to support this project as the Lord provides.
• Preached extensively in south England, the Midlands of England, South Wales and North Wales with a primary theme of “The Holy Ghost and Fire.” Our purpose was to help bring revival to this dry and thirsty land. There were salvations, healing, and people were filled with divine purpose to reach their nation.
• At Solid Rock Church in Monroe Iowa, Tom spoke on “Your Church Can Touch the World” and we held a healing service. There were a number of testimonies of immediate healing. Also, one young woman testified that she had been healed of mental illness when we prayed for her two years previously.
• Held a regional Men’s Advance at Hendricks, Minnesota with men from age 11 to 80. Tom spoke on holliness, church and family relationships, and fathering. Several pastors alse shared encouraging words. At Faith Family Christian Chruch in Hendricks, Tom spoke on “Jesus is Coming Back. Are You Ready?” One woman with sever hip pain was healed, and was immediately pain free.
• Collaborated with Good News Church in Gary, Minnesota for an All Generations Conference, emphasizing intergenerational relationships and ministry. Several young people made decisions for the Lord and young people were also activated to pray for the sick.
• Sponsored a Tom Shanklin Ministries Harvest World Evangelism Conference in Mankato, Minnesota. Several of our ministry friends spoke, along with Susan and me, including three of the missionaries who we support. Only eternity will reveal all that was accomplished to send laborers into the harvest.
• Held a regional Men’s Advance at Hendricks, Minnesota with men from age 11 to 80. Tom spoke on holliness, church and family relationships, and fathering. • Ministered to people from 148 nations on the internet with blogposts, podcasts, emails, and videos.
• Invested in Gospel-preaching missionaries working in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. These relationships help us to reach more people with the Good News all around the world.
• There is much more! Many other lives were touched, bodies healed, and Christians encouraged in the United States and around the world. We can rejoice together in all that has been done! 

Now, we have the opportunity to see more people come to Jesus, more Christians encouraged, and more churches ignited with divine purpose. Our schedule for 2020 is filling up. We will be in Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic in February, and we are working on outreaches in the United States this summer, and praying for the Lord’s direction for other nations.
