Reaching Benin & the World

Sand for the roof of the Bible School dormitory. It’s happening!
Wonderful Early Christmas Present for Benin! (By Susan)
Tom and I have been praying with you all for money to come in for a roof for the dormitory we are helping to construct at the Mt. Moriah Bible School in the village of Danzounmey, southern Benin, West Africa. Let’s just say, no building is very practical without a roof on it. Great news! A missions offering arrived which was enough to totally complete the roof for the dormitory in one shot! Now the building can begin to fulfill its destiny to house students, teachers, and an on-site pastor, and his family.
We have seen with our own eyes the red clay ground, hungry students, and the yearning for God’s touch to breathe life into a nation. The Bible says, “How can they hear unless someone is sent?” These willing souls in Benin have been sent out in the wilderness, really, and now they can shout it from the ROOF top!
Oh, sure, more is needed in the way of doors and windows … but LOOK what the Lord has done! A $15,000 dormitory project has been whittled down to just over $5,000. Glory! Nothing is impossible with our God!
Thank you for praying with us to see this project come into being with the much-prayed-through vision and direction of Rev. Issac Clossou of Messenger Church of God in Cotonou, Benin. This Bible school will send out well-balanced students in a very unbalanced world. So let us rejoice together for what the Lord has done!
The Tabitha Project in Benin is humming along, sewing for Jesus. Another sewing machine was added to the center in Cotonou, and we were able to send funds for a month’s salary for the teacher who is instructing ladies in the art of sewing! Pray for the sewing of clothes, sowing of the Gospel, and for buyers for the products they are producing.
Thank you for embracing God’s heart for the people of the Gospel-hungry land of Benin! (Susan)
Despite the Challenges, It’s Been a Good Year (By Tom)
Well, amazingly, it’s December, and we will soon enter into a new year. Susan and I would like to thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support during this year. If you would like to make a special end-of-the-year contribution, you can use the link below. We thank God for our faithful partners and supporting churches who make this ministry possible. We continually pray for you and your family and your health and well being.
Despite the challenges, it has been a good year. God has proved, as Paul told Timothy, that “the Word of God is not bound.” God is working mightily in us, in you, and many others around the world. He loves us. That’s why He sent Jesus! And we have the great privilege of spreading the message all around. Have a wonderful Christmas and the best New Year ever! I’m ready for a new year, how about you?
