Dear precious people of God,

In June, Susan and I visited The Country Church in Ruthton. On Sunday morning and evening, I spoke about “The Holy Spirit Our Helper” and “The Holy Spirit Our Power Source.” I encouraged the church to cultivate their relationship with the Holy Spirit and to tap into the power source. The messages were very well received. It was great to visit this church, which has been a great help and encouragement to us for many years, first under the leadership of Pastor Rich DeRuyter and now with Pastor Frank Vanderbush.

Following Jesus

As I mentioned previously, I am working on a book called “Following Jesus.” It’s a small book, but it is taking some time. With Susan’s help, I am trying to communicate with people who don’t know the Lord or have no background in the Bible. I’m asking you to continue to pray that many people will be reached with this Book. 

Benin Update

Apostle Isaac Clossou reports that, as a result of the money we sent last month, he has ordered the doors and windows for the classroom expansion in Benin. Additionally, the electricians have completed the initial phase of their work, and the masons have commenced work on plastering the walls (photo at left). We received $100 in June, leaving approximately $1,900 to complete the project. If you are led to contribute to this undertaking, which will provide classroom space for the Bible School and Vocational High School, you can designate your offering using the enclosed Response Form. Our friends in Benin are praising God for every contribution. It will be exciting to see this project completed!

Regions Beyond

I was reading today in Paul’s second letter to the Corinthian church that he shared a vision with them of reaching the “regions beyond” them. Despite the difficulties he experienced in ministry, Paul was always looking to expand his evangelistic efforts to reach more people for the Lord. I am praying for an expansion mentality for all of us, that we will enlarge our horizons in life and ministry. I believe that as we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, we will see more and more fruit for the Kingdom of God. Thank you for being a vital part of this ministry through your prayers, encouragement, and giving!
