We are inviting men from the Upper Midwest to come together for the second annual Prairie Fires Regional Men’s Advance on Saturday, August 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meetings will be held at Cedrics on Main Banquet Room, West Lincoln St., Hendricks, Minnesota.

The purpose of this meeting is to unite men from the region in an atmosphere of love and mutual respect. We want to encourage one another and build one another up in the Lord, so that we can all cooperate with the great harvest which God has planned for the earth. I believe now is the time to encourage men in their vital role in God’s plan for their families, their churches, and their communities.

I also want to extend a special invitation to pastors. You are on the front lines of battle. We appreciate you and want to lift up your arms and encourage you in the work you are doing. Come and bring the men of your church with you for a time of refreshing in the Lord.

I am looking forward to seeing you on August 20. Come early for coffee and donuts at 10 a.m. Invite a friend, neighbor, co-worker, father, uncle, or your teenage son to come along, too. I’ll be giving a Gospel message, so it’s a good time for men to hear some much-needed refreshing Good News. I’ll also be talking about some important issues relating to men and their families.
