In Spite of Cold, Mankato Believers School of Ministry Going Forward!
THE LATEST NEWS
Our Believers School of Ministry began on January 23 here in Mankato after a blizzard cancellation for the first week of classes. Those who attended on the next bone chilling Thursday night were truly blessed. We had a tremendous sense of comradery as we gathered together in the name of Jesus with the purpose of fulfilling His calling to reach and help others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Lord has been progressively leading us to “equip God’s people” to do the work of the ministry, in addition to our work of proclamation evangelism. We must get Jesus’ Church back on task—reaching the lost and making disciples! Please pray that God will use these classes, not only here in Mankato, but around the world, to awaken and train God’s people to fulfill the Great Commission.
We are also planning to teach these classes on the first Sunday of each month at For His Glory Church in Spring Grove in southeastern Minnesota starting on February 2. For more details on location, times and classes in Spring Grove click here, or check back to see where we may hold them in the future. Perhaps you would like to have a Believers School of Ministry in your church or community. Let us know!

Pastor Bob Holmbeck of the Assembly of God Church in Gaylord will be with us on January 23. As the chaplain at the Sibley County Jail, Pastor Bob has had the opportunity to see many lives changed through the power of the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, Pastor Brian Brinkert of Two Rivers Vineyard Church in Mankato will lead us in a time of worship during this class.
On March 3, Pastor Nate Belkstrom of Living Word Church in Redwood Falls will be with us. He is the author of several books and a speaker in the U.S. and internationally on the subject of “Christians in the Workplace.” He believes that instead of work being an interruption to our spiritual life, it is a primary way we live and express our Christian values.
